The AXIANS security team attempts intrusions using the same tools and methods as hackers, to precisely evaluate all potential risks: intrusion, wiretap, identity hijacking, denial of service (radio jamming), weak authentication, etc.
We undertake a site survey to evaluate the RF coverage and take into account indoor, outdoor and hot spot constraints. We can locate legitimate and rogue access points, or those from neighboring sites that interfere with the audited network.
Audit deliverable includes a report that assesses the Wi-Fi architecture level of security and provides remedial recommendations. For example:
Update equipment according to the latest standards or a remedial security plan of actions.
Redesign the antenna setup, reduce power of terminals, redeploy or reconfigure access points to avoid interfering with third-party networks.
Integrate Wi-Fi network with existing LANs, through a dedicated DMZ (buffer zone).
Implement encryption or authentication mechanisms (WEP, WPA).
