Since their acquisition of VMware at the end of 2023, Broadcom has made significant changes in the business model and the partner program, impacting both their Resellers and Service Providers.
As part of the Broadcom Advantage Partner Program for VMware Solution Providers, Broadcom restructured its VMware Partner Program and introduced a new Regional Partner Hierarchy. This by-invitation-only framework enables multi-entity organizations to progress collectively within the program.
Axians was enrolled in the program last November with 11 participating countries. By combining performance and capability points across these entities, Axians has achieved the Premier level.
At the same time, Broadcom significantly reduced the number of authorized VMware Solution and Service Providers. Axians remains among the selected partners and continues to provide VMware licenses, renewals and services.
The Regional Partner Hierarchy is a by-invitation-only framework that allows VMware Solution Providers with multiple entities to progress through the Advantage Program together as a group. The VMware Solution Provider collective can earn performance and capability points jointly, and when a new level is reached, all members gain access to the associated benefits.
Through the Regional Partner Hierarchy, participating entities:
- Advance together through program levels
- Earn performance and capability points collectively
- Gain access to associated benefits when a new tier is reached
- Maintain incentive eligibility at the individual entity level
- Benefit from consolidated visibility through shared dashboards
- Benefit from flexibility: participating entities can choose which entities to include while keeping others independent
This regional structure consolidates Axians’ collective capabilities, strengthening its position within the Broadcom Advantage Partner Program.
